Thousands of studies on the properties of CBD show effects on stress, anxiety, inflammation, pain, sleep!
What's the CBD?
Beyond its interesting nutritional properties, hemp also secretes more than 80 natural active substances called “cannabinoids”. More commonly known is THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), the psychotropic substance of the plant.
The latest research has focused more on CBD (Cannabidiol), with thousands of studieson human health (epilepsy, chronic intestinal inflammation, autoimmune diseases, obesity, cardiovascular system, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, sleep).
CBD can take the form of dried flowers, e-liquids, balms, candies or oils.
The CBD Oil
The extraction of hemp flowers in the form of oil, preserves the profile of the plant, avoids the risk of smoke, and combines rapid and effective effects.
CBD oil is legally sold worldwide, as long as the THC content is below the legal limit.
Hemp oil or CBD ? Unlike CBD oil, hemp oil comes from mechanically cold-pressed seeds. It does not contain cannabinoids and is mainly used in cooking and cosmetics. Hemp oil is known for its many essential fatty acids and its high vitamin E content, which is much higher than other edible oils.
Anandamide, absolute joy!
Anandamide comes from the Sanskrit word “ananda”, which means absolute joy !
This molecule does more than produce a state of bliss. It also plays a key role in managing pain, inflammation, appetite, sleep and fertility. Elle joue aussi un rôle clé dans la gestion de la douleur, de l’inflammation, de l’appétit, du sommeil et de la fertilité. Anandamide also inhibits the cellular proliferation of human breast cancer (1).
This neurotransmitter is one of the two major endocannabinoids produced naturally by the human brain. Its structure is close to that of THC. Once produced, anandamide has a lifespan of only 30 minutes. Sport and certain foods, such as cocoa and black truffles, would slightly increase the production of anandamide.
CBD would improve the circulation of anandamide by limiting its degradation.
